Question to all State Senators who voted for Newman’s tax hike amendment…

The more I think about the vote on the Newman/Cuccinelli tax hike, the more upset I am. Several Republicans are touting their Aye vote as of the Newman plan was a good idea (here’s why it wasn’t)…

…and yet, it was still a second reading vote, not a final passage vote. On top of that, I don’t know how many GOP Senators were led astray by the spectacular error of the Family Foundation.

So, I figured I might as well just ask them.

To all 18 Senators who voted to amend McDonnell’s tax hike into the Newman/Cuccinelli tax hike: Had the amendment passed, would you have voted to pass the final bill? Or would you have voted against final passage of the Newman/Cuccinelli tax hike?
