A Very, VERY Real Problem for the NVTA

The Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance has a very, VERY real problem on their hands in that three of its members are on a foreign trip to Turkey where they are discussing business matters.  The issue?  They are in violation of the Virginia Open Meetings law.

My sources tell me that members of the General Assembly are already looking into this with regard to accessibility of meeting minutes and whether proper public meeting announcement requirements have been met.  This could ensnare officials from Loudoun and Prince William counties as well as the City of Alexandria.
