The RNC Targets Mark Warner

The Republican National Committee has targeted U.S. Sen. Mark Warner who is up for reelection this year, launching radio ads against him today here in Virginia over his lie to voters that they could keep their healthcare plans if they liked them under Obamacare (PolitiFact’s “Lie of the Year” for 2013.)

The RNC is running the ads against Warner on this in English, Spanish and Korean.

The text of the ad follows:

So what’s your New Year’s resolution? Here’s one you can keep. Resolve to keep Mark Warner honest in 2014.

President Obama and Mark Warner said if you like your insurance plan you can keep it under ObamaCare. They lied to you. Big time. PolitiFact called that the “lie of the year.”

Millions will lose their insurance—and their doctors.

2014 is your chance to hold Mark Warner accountable. Tell him this is one New Year’s resolution you’re sticking to.

  1. Sounds like a good ad to run against Mark….it aint worth a damn…neither is Glliespie politically…….I would be really troubled if Tom Davis stepped up to the plate……..but the little dogs in your trenches would get him in a convention!!!

  2. How’s about Artur Davis, were he to run? I gather that he’s not planning to run for Congress in the 10th District (neither is Fimian for that matter).

  3. Meanwhile Shak Hill is bombarding me with spam written to email addresses that have been dead for years (but still have catchalls working) with no opt-out and bcc’d so I can’t even ask them to remove! Booo for stealing lists and astroturfing support Shak!
